Buy with Prime will originally be available by invitation only for merchants using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and will launch through 2022 as merchants, including those not selling on Amazon or using FBA, are invited to participate.
Buy with Prime is intended to work with the vast majority of online stores, including e-commerce service providers like Big Commerce. Buy with Prime will enable millions of Prime members in the United States to shop directly from merchants’ online stores while receiving the trusted Amazon experience they expect including fast, free delivery, a smooth checkout experience, and free returns on qualified orders. Prime members will notice the Prime logo and delivery pledge on eligible products in merchants’ online stores, indicating that the item is available for free delivery, as soon as the next day, with no returns.
Furthermore, Checkout is simple and convenient when shopping with Buy with Prime. After placing an order, Prime members will use the payment and shipping files contained in their Amazon account and will receive timely shipping and delivery notifications. Amazon is broadening where members can enjoy valued and comfortable Prime shopping benefits beyond Amazon with the unveiling of Buy with Prime, introducing even more value to their membership. Members will be able to shop directly from merchants while still receiving the fast, free delivery, smooth checkout, and simple returns they’ve come to expect from Amazon.
