Infosys (NYSE: INFY) and Roland-Garros Expand Digital Innovation Partnership

Infosys Limited (NYSE: INFY) and Roland-Garros (RG) disclosed that they both have decided to expand their digital innovation partnership from three-year to five years. The agreement will see Infosys continue to push the limits of technology for the Parisian Slam as the Official Digital Innovation Partner, through 2026.

With the contract renewal, Infosys will increase its focus on broadcast and technical advancements, as well as establish a new social inclusion project at RG 2022. The focus of the digital innovation cooperation will be on four major areas. The major four areas include:

  • Powering Digital Innovations
  • Enhancing Broadcast Experiences
  • Exploring the Metaverse
  • Enabling Future Generations

Furthermore, with the introduction of next-generation technologies integrating AI, cloud, and analytics, Roland-Garros and Infosys have revolutionized the experience for the whole tennis ecosystem. The few main highlights of the partnership include groundbreaking new video and stats analysis platforms for players and coaches to revolutionize training, strengthening match analysis for broadcasters to post engaging content.

The partnership also brings new ways for fans to engage with the tournament, including bringing the history and heritage of RG to fans around the world through a 3D art museum. Infosys stated that its collaboration with Roland-Garros has enabled the sport to grasp the digital potential by empowering players, coaches, spectators, and the media to interact, practice, and connect with technology over the years. Their cooperation will be in its fourth year in 2022.

Roland-Garrison, on the other hand, believes that Infosys has been instrumental in elevating the RG experience to new heights over the last four years, thanks to industry-leading digital experiences and advancements. Every year, they welcome spectators from over 222 countries to watch one of the most anticipated tennis events of the year. Moreover, each year, they outperform the previous, boosting the fan experience owing to their strong collaboration.
