21Vianet Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: VNET) declared the results of its 2021 Extraordinary General Meeting which was organized on October 8, 2021, in Beijing, where it presented a special resolution to get approval to change the Company’s name to “VNET Group, Inc.”
The company disclosed that finally, it has accepted a special resolution to approve the change of the Company’s name to “VNET Group, Inc.” The decision to change the name of 21Vianet Group, Inc to VNET Group, Inc will be active immediately.
Previously, the firm has announced changes in its leadership team. It revealed that Mr. Chunfeng Cai, the COO of the firm has decided to leave his current post and leave firm due to personal reasons. The decision of his resignation become effective on October 1, 2021.
