KBR (NYSE: KBR) Receive Contract from NATO Support and Procurement Agency

KBR, Inc. (NYSE: KBR) disclosed that it has received a contract from the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). As per the contract, KBR will be given the task to offer analytical, engineering, technical, programmatic, and logistics services for the PATRIOT missile system. The PATRIOT is a sophisticated surface-to-air guided air and missile defense system utilized by several NATO states around the world.

KBR has gained recognition as the provider of advisory and assistance services related to research and development, production, deployment, and sustainment for the PATRIOT Air and Missile Defense System for more than 40 years. As per the new contract, KBR work will include systems engineering; program management; modeling and simulation; product assurance; configuration management; production, quality, logistics, and deployment; hardware and software integration; field surveillance; and test and evaluation.

Share of KBR surged 1.15% during the trading session of Monday. The firm has recorded a trading volume of $1.25 million as compared to the average volume of $1.56 million. In the past 52-weeks of a trading session, the share of the firm has oscillated between the 52-week low and high range of $20.48 and $42.71, respectively. KBR has a total market capitalization of $5.47 billion at the time of writing.

Furthermore, it has been disclosed that KBR will perform its duties at firm facilities in Huntsville, Alabama as well as at U.S. government deployment locations around the globe. This contract has a three-year base period and two option years.
