KKR (NYSE: KKR) Announces Final Close of KKR Asian Fund IV

KKR & Co. Inc. (NYSE: KKR) disclosed that it has finally ended the KKR Asian Fund IV. KKR Asian Fund IV is the US$15 billion fund centered on funds in the private equity deals across the Asia Pacific region. KKR will make an investment of nearly US$1.3 billion in the capital in conjunction with the finance shareholders through the corporation and its worker’s obligations.

Furthermore, it has been declared by the firm that the statement it has made today is built on the driving forces across the Asia Pacific platform of KKKR. In January, the firm revealed the completion of its opening pan-regional infrastructure and real estate investment trusts.

KKR Asian Fund IV

KKR Asian Fund IV is now the largest private investment fund devoted to investment in the Asia Pacific region. The fund, which surpassed its objective size to attain its hard cap for fund investors’ obligations, got strong backing from a varied group of new and current global investors, plus a strong image by Asia Pacific-based investors.

KKR has introduced its Asia Pacific platform in 2005. Currently, it has over US$30 billion in assets under administration in the region across policies, plus private capital, infrastructure, real estate, and credit. Shares of KKR went up 1.61% during the trading session of Monday.

Co-Head of Asia Pacific Private Equity at KKR commented that this private equity investment across the Asia Pacific is remarkable. At the same time each market is distinctive, the long-term core principles underlying the region’s growth are stable.
