The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) has decided to cut 32,000 more jobs, initially at its theme parks in the midst of a pandemic when there are limited visitors in the park. The company is planning to implement the job cutting decision in the first half of 2021. Previously, the company disclosed that it is planning to grant furlough to its workers from its theme park in South California.
Disney has earlier resumed the services in its theme parks in Florida and the US but with the proper social distancing rules. The theme park of the company will remain open in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
