Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE: PLTR) has disclosed that National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has chosen the firm for a contract value up to $89.9 million for a time period of up to 5 years. PLTR has been chosen to offer its Office of Safety, Infrastructure, and Operations with a platform to efficient information management and data-driven decision-making.

As per the deal, Palantir will act as the platform for NNSA’s Safety Analytics, Forecasting, and Evaluation Reporting (SAFER) project. SAFER will aid the NNSA in their quest to administer nuclear safety by permitting it to best distribute its human and economic resources to concentrate on safety.

After the selection of Palantir, the contract will be the first contract of PLTR with NNSA. Palantir will be designing a common operating picture that will combine data and enable the NNSA to gauge the health of safety programs throughout the enterprise and offer the appropriate time in-depth information for SAFER.

Furthermore, the program will offer NNSA staff the ability to monitor, trend, ask, examine, and envision safety system of measurement from different sites across the nation.
