Pacific Premier Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: PPBI) announced that it will be renewing its partnership with the National Football League’s Los Angeles Chargers. The collaborating parties also inaugurated the Bolts Community Crew, a platform dedicated to encouraging Chargers fans to willingly participate in work regarding social services carrying out community welfare responsibilities.
Both the parties agreed to grow together to give back to the environment and promote a positive change. The first part of volunteer work will include the supply of 5,000 hygiene kits to Midnight Mission’s Skid Row facility for homeless Angelenos, the distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the distribution of 1,200 face masks to Boys and Girls Club Metro Los Angeles (BGCMLA).
Most of these activities are particularly designed for fans while others will be conducted through not-for-profit organizations. In addition to the mentioned philanthropic efforts, the Bolts Community Crew will try to interact with locals on topics of civil justice, equality, and empowerment.
