Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) has disclosed today that it has teamed up with the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center), a counterfeit watchdog of the US. Federal watchdog and e-commerce giant joined hands to protect the rights of American consumers by halting the entrance of fake goods in the US. CBP and DHL have also participated in the operations against fake products.

Through this collaboration, the IPR center and Amazon will conduct the inspection on targeted locations to stop the entrance of fake goods into the US supply chain. During the operations, the collected evidence will be used in the investigation against fake products. The only goal of these watchdogs and Amazon is to start the investigation against bad actors. Amazon has earlier invested more than $500 million to save its consumers and stores from fake products.
