Vodafone Group Plc (NASDAQ: VOD) is gearing up to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. The company disclosed that its carbon reduction targets for 2030 have received approval from the Science-Based Target Initiative. Vodafone has also revealed that it has decided to lessen the carbon emission from its own operations.
Vodafone Group Plc has also vowed to reduce the carbon emission from Scope 3 sources including all the supply chain purchases, and joint ventures. Telecom Services company is striving to decrease its carbon footprint by improving energy efficiency.
