Viasat (NASDAQ: VSAT) disclosed that its unit Viasat UK Ltd has decided to open a sophisticated Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) in Aldershot, UK. The firm has disclosed that the new center will be beneficial for commercial, government, and defense enterprises.
The new center will of great advantage to the firm who depend on the secured flexibility of their systems, and who are targeted by increasingly complex cyberattacks from an ever-increasing number of opponents. The new center NOC and CSOC is the start of major investment opportunities in the UK.
The center will focus on the establishment of more than 75 new extremely-competent, network, assessment, and cybersecurity responsibilities, and more than £300m in UK-centered investment to assist the rollout and service launch of the impending ViaSat-3 constellation over the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Furthermore, NOC and CSOC will serve as a global client care center. These centers will provide clients surveillance, identification, and network assistance provided to allow the overall health of the network. Moreover, these centers will also help in detecting potential issues or threats to security, solve those issues and threats within the shortest possible period, and verify that any threat motion is successful.
