Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ) confirmed that it has introduced Nasdaq Derivatives Academy in the Nordics. The Nasdaq Derivatives Academy was created in collaboration with top educational institutions and Nordic market participants, and it now offers three distinct educational programs targeted at professional and private investors, as well as risk, post-trade, and compliance specialists. The private investor program is completely free.

Nasdaq Derivatives Academy is the latest step in Nasdaq's mission to promote inclusive growth and prosperity by offering resources to neglected communities and making markets more accessible to everyone. Nasdaq established a cooperation with a variety of local organizations throughout its European markets in December 2021 to improve financial literacy among community groups with usually limited awareness of investments. Nasdaq introduced OptionsPlay in 2019 to teach Nordic investors about options trading.

Additionally, the fully digital educational programs are presented by acknowledged specialists with extensive derivative trading expertise, and they provide comprehensive information and practical comprehension through interactive lectures, real-world case studies, and downloadable materials. After completing the program, all participants will receive a certification validating their skills.

Furthermore, the bundle of training programs, created for Nasdaq by top educational partners, targets the increased interest in equity derivatives among both investment professionals and retail investors and strives to raise understanding of the asset's prospects and hazards. SEB's Head of Equities Trading and Derivatives, Niclas Egmar said that “we intend to continue to support Nasdaq in our shared goal of increasing investor knowledge of equities derivatives and the broader financial markets."
