Garmin Ltd. (NYSE: GRMN) has become the title sponsor of Garmin Gravel Worlds. The duration of the agreement is three years, starting with this year’s event in Lincoln, Nebraska, from Aug. 19-20, 2022. Since its inception in 2010, Gravel Worlds started as a single, 150-mile event through the rolling hills of Nebraska.
The Pirate Cycling League hosts the Garmin Gravel Worlds. It is a grassroots-style, entirely self-supported gravel event that attracts thousands of competitors to recognize athletes of all skills and their passion for gravel riding. The Garmin Gravel Worlds Land Ho 50K ultramarathon, which will debut in 2022, will test competitors on gravel and dirt roads in southeast Nebraska.
Garmin added that it is an honor for the company to be the title sponsor of such an inclusive and supporting event. As a firm that prides itself on designing items for athletes of all capabilities, it is excited to cheer on this year’s runners and cyclists as they compete through the Nebraska countryside.
