Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) Names Anthony Capuano As New CEO

Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR) revealed that its Board of directors has chosen Anthony Tony Capuano as its new CEO. Anthony will join the firm’s board of directors immediately. The firm has also declared the appointment of Stephanie Linnartz as the President of the firm.

Marriott has chosen the new President and CEO after the sudden demise of Marriott President and CEO Arne Sorenson on February 15, 2021. MAR is hoping that the new CEO will help the firm pursuing the growth strategy. He will become the CEO who not only delivers operational excellence but also increase the experience of its customers.

He earlier served as the Group President, Global Development, Design and Operations Services. While serving the firm he remained steadfast and was liable for leading worldwide expansion and design efforts and supervising the firm’s Global Operations discipline. Share of Marriott (NASDAQ: MAR) soared 1.79% as it gained +2.55 at the time of writing on Tuesday. The market value of the firm stood at $44.78 billion at the time of writing.

On the other hand, Ms. Linnartz will be liable for developing and implementing all elements of the firm international consumer strategy, plus brand, advertising, sales, revenue administration, customer involvement, digital, IT, evolving businesses, and devotion tactics.

Ms. Stephanie has a long history of success and has deep experience. She has complete know-how of the firm growth strategies. Her skills and expertise will allow her to work perfectly with the firm’s proprietors and franchise partners, modernize for its guests and clients, and advocate new possibilities for its partners.
